SUMMARY:Konzert in der Tenne mit Iona Lane
DESCRIPTION:mit keltischer Harfe – sie spielt für eine Hutgage\, ab 18h Köstlichkeiten aus der Hof-Küche \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSwilkie\, das neue Album der in den schottischen Highlands lebenden Songwriterin Iona Lane\, verbindet Ökologie\, Naturschutz\, Inseln und Folklore zu poetischen Liedern und besinnlichen Melodien. Entstanden während dreier Aufenthalte auf den Inseln Eigg\, Mull und Sanday auf den Orkneyinseln\, stehen Orts- und Landschaftssinn im Mittelpunkt dieser Lieder. Von Riesenhaien bis zu Leuchttürmen\, von Flechten bis zu verschwindenden Inseln\, von Brachvögeln bis zu Baumpflanzungen; das Album wurde in einem Bootshaus an der Westküste Schottlands aufgenommen\, und wer aufmerksam zuhört\, kann sogar das Plätschern der Flut hören. Ionas Verbundenheit zu Orten am Meer wird in diesen Liedern mit sich entwickelnden Gesangsmelodien\, subtiler Gitarre und dröhnender Shruti-Box zum Ausdruck gebracht. Ionas Debütalbum „Hallival“ landete auf Platz 36 der offiziellen Folk-Album-Charts und wurde von Folk Radio UK auf Platz 27 der Top-Alben des Jahres 2022 gewählt. Das Album erhielt breite Beachtung in der Presse\, unter anderem in The Guardian\, Walk Highlands\, BBC Radio 2 und The Scotsman.Iona wird  von Eleanor Dunsden  auf der Clarsach (keltische Harfe) begleitet.\n\n\n\nDriven by awe and wonder of the natural world\, Glasgow based songwriter Iona Lane delivers poetic songs. Subtle musical touches and contemplative melodies link unheard stories with the world we find ourselves in today.‘ \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nIn 2022 I released my debut album ‚Hallival‘ to critical acclaim\, reaching number 36 in the Folk Album Charts and airplay across the country including BBC Radio 2. ‚Hallival‘ was listed at #27 in FRUK’s top 100 albums of 2022. My music draws from landscapes and the natural world\, finding stories in rural locations of mythology\, folklore and science and giving them life in contemporary folk. My album features a group of incredibly talented musicians including Lauren MacColl\, Jenny Sturgeon and Rachel Newton. \n\n\n\nIn 2023 I toured Scotland\, England and Wales extensively with over 50 shows. I supported Karine Polwart on multiple dates of her sold out tour in England.
